Presidential candidate Max Gersch has recently received endorsements from star Republicans Mitt Romney and John Kasich, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Heritage Foundation. The endorsement from the 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is a wonderful backing for Gersch as it expresses a strong Conservative support; Kasich’s endorsements represents that more moderate conservatives also support Gersch’s political position, moreover that Gersch will likely gain many different shades of conservative votes during the election. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s backing indicates that Gersch has the proper communication skills and foreign policy platforms that are supported by America’s allies. The Heritage Foundation supports limited government, free enterprise, and strong national defense; as the Heritage Foundation is a conservative research and educational institution, Gersch can benefit from its support as a powerful conservative think tank. The problem with Gersch’s endorsements? He is one of the three candidates that have been endorsed by Governor Kasich, which means that while the three candidates, Gersch, Sylvester, and Chaudhri, all have backing from a moderate Conservative, none of the three will have the full, undivided support of Kasich, which will put them into competition with each other over the same pool of voters that support Kasich and similar politicians. Effectively, the support of Kasich gives little upper hand to win over the conservative electorate if it is not exclusive.
