Jeremy Wenick

Born in Miami, Florida to a construction worker father and a stay at home mom, Jeremy Wenick has served as governor of Florida for two terms and is currently serving his third. Wenick attended Columbia University for eight years under a scholarship to receive his law degree. After the earthquake in Haiti, Wenick started the Hope for Haiti charity to help build homes and give relief between his second and third term as governor of Florida.

Running a moderate liberal positioned campaign with very strong liberal social values and fiscal conservative ideas, the Wenick campaign advocates for environment platforms such as supporting the EPA and encouraging the country to use more green energy, clearing up waste in the environment, preserving nature. On Obamacare, Jeremy Wenick seeks to improve it to make it work better for the American people.

Wenick supports the Common Core, but wants to adjust the curriculum to be more experienced based and have more hands-on learning for children so they can explore their passions. He also wants to promote charter schools to help people in need by increasing funding towards education, aiming to increase accessibility to school. Being fiscally conservative, Wenick promotes lowering business taxes and helping small businesses thrive.

The slogan of the campaign, “Onward and Upward!”, means taking America forward and helping it to rise above other countries. Wenick’s quote that sums up his entire campaign, “Where there’s a Wenick, there’s a way”, signifies his confidence in himself to carry out his promises and help fix America’s problems as president.
